[When: After 'Sleepover Silliness', before 'The Hunt']
Sherisse moved cautiously around a group of Charak demons who were haggling over the price of a set of knives and looked around once more for her parents. She didn't understand why they would want her to meet them here at the Market but that was what their message had said.
Of course, this wasn't her first trip to the Market. All sorts of magical beings came to the demonic Market when they were in need of something that couldn't be found elsewhere. But it was certainly her first time doing so alone. In difference to that she wore a her pair of her most sensible boots, a long dress, hooded cloak, and a scarf wrapped around the lower half of her face. Thus disguised, only her eyes were visible, which was a good thing considering a healthy slave trade was also operating inside the Market.
She didn't see her parents but Sherry finally spotted the particular potions stall her parents had indicated she should meet them at. 'Maybe I'm early,' she thought to herself.

Walking through the marketplace Aleoc looked around at all the different weapons for sale he turned when he herd a few voices behind him though he only turned back when he spotted the group of Charak demons talking about knives he smiled once he spotted what he was after. Aleoc's skeleton like fingers grabbed hold of a darklighters crossbow and next to that was the set of arrows he needed. He paid for his items and hooked the crossbow on his shoulder he placed the arrows inside a backpack he kept. Now he had a certain meeting to attend to and if he didn't hurry soon he would be late something that Aleoc didn't want to be in. It didn't take him long before he spotted the potions stall that he needed to be he soon noticed Sherisse standing alone but not her parents. "So where's your parents." Aleoc asked in a deep voice.

Sherisse jumped a little at the voice. She'd turned her back to the market to browse the potion maker's wares while she waited for her parents after a while. "Who are you? How- How did you know I was waiting for my parents?" Sherry asked nervously. This man, demon she sensed, was a stranger to her and yet he seemed familiar with her. Was this man the reason why her parents had wanted her to meet them here?
She fingered the small vial of potion she'd had in her hands before he arrived, behind her back, unsure of what it would do to the demon if she flung it at him... but if she had to, she would do it, for at least it would be a distraction if nothing else. She waited with a brave face for the demon's answer.

"My name is Aleoc I'm waiting here for your parents I was asked to attend this little meeting but I'm surprised you didn't know about it." Aloec replied. He glared at her for a moment as if waiting for something to happen though nothing did happen he turned his head from left to right to see if he could spot Sherisse's parents anywhere on the streets. "By the looks of it you are early or something else?" Aleoc smiled evilly at Sherisse wondering if he too was early as well. He shifted his darklighter crossbow a little to the right so it could rest comfortably on his back though he folded his arms and stood still watching Sherisse to see if she would do anything.

Sherrise let her body relax, her hand letting go of the potion so that it could thump quietly down on the stall's table behind her. She smiled at Aleoc behind her scarf. "I'm sorry, that was very rude of me. My only excuse is that you startled me. If you are to meet my parents, then, yes, we are early," she said.
She was still nervous around him but determined not to show it. So, she held out her hand to him, intending their greeting embrace to only be barely polite. "It is well to meet you, Aleoc. I am Sherisse NicCecht," she said formally, as if he did not already know her name.

Aleoc watched as Sherrise relaxed her body as he explained who he was well since Sherrise was here her parents wouldn't be too far behind her. He folded his arms together and leaned against the wall of the potion stall as once again he looked out into the streets. He shook her hand as Sherrise held it out. "Yes like wise so how long will your parents be Sherrise?" Aleoc asked he didn't have all the time in the world to just stand and wait near a potion stall all day. He wondered if Sherrise's parents had told her about to happen Aleoc continued to think though he wasn't worried much a deal was deal and so Aleoc stood their and waited for Sherrise's parents so they could break the news to her.

Thrown off balance by Aleoc's quick, strong shaking of her hand, Sherisse stumbled back a bit and bumped against the stall's table. "Hey, watch it!" the potion maker yelled at her, making sure the table didn't tip and send his merchandise flying. Sherry blushed behind her scarf, embarrassed, not used to being anything other than graceful. "Sorry," she said to the man, moving away from his stall a little. She had to go around Aleoc to do so, so she took the opportunity to search the crowd for her parents again, but they just weren't there.
Then a horrifying thought occurred to her and she whirled around to look at the demon again. "They didn't....Promise me to you, did they?" she gasped. Surely not, she thought. Sherry knew that eligible Sidhe males were in short supply but she didn't think that her parents would want her to marry a demon. They cared far to much about preserving their race. But why else would they make such an obvious setup? Sherry just couldn't wrap her mind around it.

Aleoc loved the reaction that Sherisse made when she next spoke to him. He could've very easily continued to tease Sherrisse though Aleoc thought there would be times latter that he could tease her some more. "Your parents promised that you'd become my servant for a entire year because I promised them something in return." Aleoc turned to look at Sherrisse in the eyes to her next reaction because he wondered what it would be. Aleoc wondered how long Sherrisse's parents would be because he didn't want to wait any more for the hand over he of course would have taken Sherrisse there and then but he needed her parents to tell Sherrisse because he didn't want to make any problems inside the demonic marketplace. He was good but there where other demons and evil creatures that was far greater than he could ever imagine to be.

"Servant?" Sherisse echoed, going numb as the truth of the matter settled into her brain. Her parents had sold her into indentured servitude to a demon in their quest to restore the Sidhe race...
She'd known her parents were determined... but she hadn't thought them obsessed until now. Looking up at Aleoc, Sherisse wiped away a tear that threatened to spill and asked "What kind of servant exactly? She doubted the demon wanted her for housework, after all. It would probably be best to know, up front, what was expected of her. So she asked quickly before her parents could come around and try to sugar coat the truth for her.

"That's correct my dear a servant. I promised your parents and in return they gave me you for an entire year." Aleoc glared at Sherisse evilly. He noticed that she was fighting back a tear when she whipped her eyes. Smiling upon hearing the next questions Aloec had laughed well he thought he'd tell her. Sherisse's parents never mentioned that he couldn't say anything to her before they spoke to Sherisse and Aleoc didn't suspect Sherisse to be here first before her parents anyway. "Oh I have a small job for you to do. It's to do with a certain boy and his family that I want dead but I'll explain more when we're alone your powers will be needed." Aleoc explained to Sherisse he didn't want to tell her everything in the open here any demon could hear his plan and that's something that Aleoc didn't want happen.

Stiff with misery, Sherisse nonetheless held her head up with dignity. "Let's go then," she suggested to Aleoc, wanting nothing less than to see her parents at that moment. Even going somewhere with her new Master would be preferable, she thought.
Looking at Aleoc, she shivered as the word 'Master' rang in her head. It was such a hard notion to take but it was the truth. Being a demon's servant was more akin to being a slave. The magical ties of the contract that bound her would no doubt make themselves felt if she tried to do anything so foolish as to try and run away.
"You can tell me more about this boy and my assignment then, yes?" she asked, wondering where he would take her, and completely unaware that she already knew the particular boy Aleoc had in mind...
